Implementation Services Manager

Position Location South East Region ( Preferred South Carolina or Georgia)
In this capacity, you will work with implementing our new homecare clients to determine their business financial, operations and policy needs in order to build a successful foundation for our software package. You will be responsible to implement and train clients’ staff members as end users in various software programs offered by us, by successfully completing a series of oral presentations in a group environment followed by one-on-one training. This process begins prior to going to the client site, by obtaining pertinent information that will affect the training and continues after the training is completed with follow-up on issues or concerns raised during the training period.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepares project documents including meeting agendas, meeting minutes and drafts of requirements that demonstrate a good understanding of the project and its goals.
- Analyzes problems and issues that arise during project implementation and proposes resolution.
- Plays a key support role in the implementation of a project and requires the flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
- Completes research and analysis in a timely manner so that commitments can be met.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems encountered and proposed solutions.
- Plan to support project timelines and deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Reports on project items and progress to all stakeholders and as requested by the Implementation Services Director.
- Participate in personnel decisions including interviewing new employees and completing performance appraisals.
- Facilitates client meetings effectively.
- Effectively communicates relevant implementation and project information to team members and superiors as well as to customers.
- Communicates status updates and tracks to established timetables so that commitments can be met.
- Identifies resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicates testing and research results in a thorough, comprehensive format.
- Understands HIPAA regulation with regard to communication of PHI (Protected Health Information).
- Document any issues or concerns that arise during testing, research or customer contact.
- Coordinate communication of project information with other Sandata departments as required.
- General understanding of healthcare related technology, terminology and HIPAA standards for privacy, security and healthcare transactions.
- Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
- Demonstrates competency in Word, Excel and using them as tools in getting the job done.
- Manages day-to-day interaction with other members of project team.
- Supports lasting relationships with client personnel that foster trust and long-term commitments.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Builds a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives.
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Willingness to travel up to 75% to South Carolina
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in various situations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- 3-6 years experience successfully training new end users in home care or health care industry on specialized software products
- Accounting experience preferred
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Proficient in project management software
- PMP Certification preferred.
