Job Summary:

The Training Specialist will primarily be responsible for developing and delivering training on a variety of software products offered by Sandata. Our clients include both external customers and internal staff consisting of our Implementers, Call Center Staff, Project Management Staff, Sales Staff and Executive Team.



·         Maintain current thorough knowledge of Sandata’s software products

·         Create and update training materials as needed

·         Create self-paced eLearning courses

·         Coordinate with Implementation Managers in scheduling training timelines

·         Work closely with other Departments to identify training needs

·         Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions both onsite and remotely

·         Document training performed and any issues or concerns that may arise during training

·         Resolve issues on site or create tickets and follow through

·         Conduct in house seminars for clients and employees

·         Identify potential sales for other products



·         Must be a self-starter and a team player

·         Must have an understanding of adult learning principles

·         Experience with eLearning course authoring tools (preferably Adobe Captivate)

·         Experience using web conferencing softer (preferably WebEx)

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills

·         3-5 years of experience successfully training on software products, preferably in the home care or health care industry

·         Willingness to travel up to 40%
