Sandata Expands its Homecare Footprint in 2016 by adding over 1,000 Provider Agencies

Sandata Technologies, an industry leader in technology solutions for home and community-based care, witnessed significant expansion of its market share in 2016. Sandata was awarded three Statewide contracts for comprehensive Electronic Visit Verification™ (EVV™) solutions, signed an agreement with a Managed Care Organization to launch Sandata’s mobile EVV solution nationwide, and signed agreements with over 200 homecare agencies for Agency Management, EVV, and Point of Care solutions. This record year of bookings expands Sandata’s homecare coverage through the addition of over 75,000 Medicaid recipients on their technology platform.

Tom Underwood, Sandata’s Chief Executive Officer states, “We are honored to have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with these new partners, and are gratified to provide the technology that ensures Medicaid members across the country receive the care that they need in the home and in their community. Our focus is to offer solutions that bring measurable value to Payers, Providers, and Participants, and the success we experienced in 2016 confirms the alignment of our solutions with the market needs. Sandata is the longest standing EVV provider in the market today, and we look forward to the market expansion created by the EVV Mandate for home care and personal care services included in the the 21st Cures Act, which was signed into law last month.”
